For over 60 years, we have been carefully raising Hida beef every day, from breeding to rearing, at our own ranch, with the four seasons of Hida Takayama.From the time of its founding in 1947 to the present, Yamatake Shoten has always been concerned with providing safe and delicious Hida beef to everyone. In order to pursue both safety and deliciousness, it is essential to ensure the safety of everything the cows eat. We combine various types of feed in our own way to produce delicious beef cattle, and pay close attention to the suppliers of the feed to ensure safety. We also breed cattle to ensure the quality and safety of our beef cattle, and we carry out an integrated production process from breeding to raising at Yamatake Farm, a directly managed ranch on the outskirts of Takayama City.

Iwate wagyu-cross cattle are farmed in Iwate prefecture, Northern part of Japan, where the unique natural environment is suitable for breeding.Iwate Beef is Japan’s finest brand of beef, having earned more top-ratings from Japan’s Nation Grading Competition than any other region. It has won 11 times in Japan at the National Beef Carcass Competition held at the Tokyo Meat Market.
